Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Sprouter pricing and plans
What is the Sprouter platform fee for event tickets?
Sprouter offers tiered platform pricing based on your plan: Free charges 3% + $0.30 per paid ticket, Pro ($10/month) charges 2% + $0.20, and Pro+ ($50/month) charges 1% + $0.10 with a $5 maximum platform-fee cap. Standard payment processing of 2.9% + $0.30 per order is separate and disclosed at checkout.
Can I use Sprouter for free events?
Absolutely! Free events are completely free to host on Sprouter with no platform fees whatsoever. You can create unlimited free events on any plan, including the free tier. You only pay fees when selling paid tickets. This makes Sprouter perfect for community gatherings, meetups, workshops, and any event where you don't charge admission.
How fast are Sprouter payouts?
After an event, ticket proceeds become eligible for payout review. If approved, the payout is initiated by ACH to the organizer's linked bank account. ACH delivery typically takes 1–3 business days after payout initiation, subject to reserves, refunds, disputes, risk or compliance review, bank holidays, and the receiving bank.
What payment methods does Sprouter accept?
Sprouter event checkout supports ordinary buyer credit and debit cards, including major card brands, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay where available through its payment processing partner. The methods shown at checkout can vary by buyer device, organizer eligibility, and partner availability.
Can I cancel my Sprouter subscription anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your Sprouter subscription at any time with no cancellation fees or long-term contracts. When you cancel, you'll retain access to your paid features until the end of your current billing period. Your data, including your Action Pages and event history, remains accessible even on the free tier. You can downgrade to free or upgrade again whenever you want.
Is there a free trial for Pro or Pro+?
Yes! Sprouter offers a 14-day free trial for both Pro and Pro+ plans. You get full access to all premium features during the trial with no credit card required to start. This lets you test dynamic QR codes, advanced analytics, lower ticketing fees, and all other premium features risk-free before committing.
What's included in the Enterprise plan?
Sprouter Enterprise is designed for large organizations and includes everything in Pro+ plus: white-label branding with your own domain and logo, multi-account management for teams, dedicated account manager and priority support, custom integrations and API access, volume discounts on ticketing fees, advanced security features including SSO, and custom contracts. Contact our sales team for pricing.
Does Sprouter charge credit card processing fees separately?
Applicable platform and payment-processing fees are disclosed in Sprouter's pricing and at checkout before a buyer completes a purchase. Organizers should review the current Fee Schedule and their organizer agreement for the rates, fee allocation, refunds, disputes, and other deductions that apply.
